We are other

"We are other" is a collaborative zine brought to life on the Tumblr blog @we-are-other. It's all about otherkin, alterhuman, nonhuman and therian identity and contains over 60 different submissions by all kinds of beings. We are telling you what we are, and you are going to listen.

There are two versions of this zine, the purple version and the white version.

The purple version is written in the dyslexia-friendly font "OpenDyslexic". The text is black on a pale purple background. It has short image descriptions.

The white version is meant to be screenreader-friendly. It is written in the font "Verdana" and the text is black on a white background. It has more detailed image descriptions and is arranged in a way that is easy to understand using a screen reader. It is made with the AxesWord Demo, that means a demo annotation is added on the first page, each page contains a watermark, random letters will be colored green and the text “Demo version” is inserted at random places (readable only for users of assistive technologies).
